Groundbreaking Book Cites Thousands of Inventions By People of Color

Black Inventors, Crafting Over 200 Years of Success, highlights the work of Black inventors from over seventy countries. The author, Keith C. Holmes, has spent more than twenty years researching Black inventors from countries that include Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Cuba, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, St. Vincent, South Africa, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Kingdom and the United States. Without inventions, innovations, financial resources, materials, muscle and labor saving devices, civilizations cannot exist and flourish.

Beyonce's sold-out four nights at New York's famed Roseland Ballroom back in August was a resounding success with the first night's tickets selling out in a record 22 seconds.  "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce" was a fan and critical favorite with Rolling Stone Magazine declaring that the club had turned into a coliseum with Beyonce's "rafter-rattling force."

Beginning Saturday, March 17, 2012, "Jazz in the Gardens" attendees will be treated to exhilarating performances by the queen of neo-soul Jill Scott, the soulful chart topping KEM, Ledisi who was recently named "the next Patti LaBelle by Patti LaBelle", old school human beat box Doug E. Fresh and the timeless jazz superstar Ramsey Lewis. The Sunday, March 18, 2012 line up will feature the incomparable voice of the multi-platinum, nine time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige,  R & B legend Patti LaBelle, smooth jazz saxophonist Kenny G, jazz guitarist Kevin Eubanks, formerly of The Tonight Show, and locally grown internationally recognized chanteuse Nicole Henry.

Actor Vincent M. Ward Launches New Production Company

The Writer and Producer Will Kick Off 1st Quarter with Notable Projects and TV Appearances

The accomplished Actor, who has worked many years in front of the camera, will move behind the scenes to consult for small businesses and talent looking to find their niche in the entertainment industry.

Ward is a student of the performing arts, having cultivated his acting chops on stages in Playhouses across the U.S. He has since then managed to build an impressive roster of TV and Film credits and wants to help others reach that same plateau.

“I really want to help people reach their dreams” offers Ward. “I think I have something unique to offer the world of entertainment. 2012 will be a big year for me and my team and I am hoping to establish V.M.W. Productions as a driving force in communities across the globe”, he offers.

Services offered at V.M.W Productions will include script writing and editing, creative services (design for digital and print) marketing, Advertising as well as union and guild resources for Talent. V.M.W. Productions will also include a national events division where Ward will serve as Executive Producer for Award shows and Conferences. This division will also provide an upscale networking experience for professionals to assemble, mingle, and share ideas. These gatherings are designed to arm attendees with the resources for career advancement, a superior focus of Vincent M. Ward and his affiliate-partners.

Operations for the branding and marketing of Vincent M. Ward as Actor, Philanthropist and Spokesperson will also continue under the production house; including the production of original Films, Web and Television series Co-Produced by Ward himself.

Be on the lookout for Vincent this spring as he continues to flex his acting muscle in “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” on TBS Network and the hit NBC Network sitcom “Whitney”. You can also catch him in the highly anticipated stage play “Reap what you Sow” February 25, 2012 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
