“I Hear You” has earned Ransom much acclaim including the 2011 Rhythm of Gospel Award for Urban/Rhythm and Praise Song of the Year for the soulful single “Mercy and Kindness”. And most recently, Ransom was nominated for the 2012 Rhythm of Gospel Awards for Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for her "I Hear You" live concert DVD.

A true humanitarian and advocate for various charitable causes, Ransom was headliner of the “Hope Lives Forever Cancer Benefit Tour” which traveled across states such as Illinois, Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee and Kansas. Ransom is scheduled to participate in other benefits for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and also events supporting victims of domestic violence.

Ransom was featured along with Grammy Award winning gospel star Marvin Sapp at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware. Gospel’s elite artists Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark-Cole and the late, legendary Rev. Timothy Wright have all collaborated on stage with the New Jersey-born Ransom.
