Singer/Songwriter Tiffany Monique released her new video, "Anytime," the second single from her debut EP, Nemesis, yesterday on YouTube. The video was produced by Kevin Ryan, directed by "The Last American B-Boy" of Monstar Films and filmed in the singer's hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Tiffany is most popularly known as one of "The Mamas" -- background vocalists for pop superstar, Beyonce. In "Anytime," the singer showcases her metamorphosis as a woman and singer.
"Anytime" was written by Tiffany Monique and produced by Kwiz of Digital Khaoss Productions. "It's a song about unrequited love," says Tiffany. "It was written about a childhood crush who was not interested in me but capitalized on the attention I gave him. Our paths crossed later in adulthood; he said he'd always regard me as the one that got away." The new video can be viewed on the singer's website, http://www.tiffanymonique.com.
"Tiffany's voice has effortless strength, sass, seduction, and heart with a tone that puts you at ease," said Beyonce. "I am very lucky to have worked with her for many years and I am proud that she now has such a wonderful piece of work to share with the world."
Tiffany Monique's debut EP, Nemesis, was released worldwide on June 15, 2010 on her independent imprint, Rhythm 252 Music Group. In September 2011, Tiffany released "I Feel A Spark," a call-to-action dance tune that commemorates the singer's 90-pound weight loss. Both releases are currently available on iTunes.
Tiffany Monique's musical career spans over 15 years having lent her talent as background vocalist to several popular recording artists including Mariah Carey, Ledisi, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, Kenny Loggins, Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams, Estelle, Elle Varner, Marsha Ambrosius, Kelly Price, Monica, Faith Evans, Regina Belle, Melonie Fiona & Flo-Rida. She has performed as a background vocalist for pop star Beyonce for 5 years and traveled with the superstar on her last three concert/promotional world tours. Tiffany graced the Pyramid stage with Beyonce (as one of The Mamas) at 2011's historical Glastonbury Festival and has appeared on all of Beyonce's recent concert DVDs. In 2007, Tiffany was featured on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" broadcast of "What Makes A Great Backup Singer" and shared her knowledge and experience as a background vocalist. In 2011, she was featured on CBS News - "Weight-Loss in the Digital Age," citing her achievements in weight loss. For more information on Tiffany Monique, visit http://www.tiffanymonique.com.
