Approximately twenty individuals convened at the Urban League of Essex County Employement Center on today and partcipated in the first of ten Employment Coaching Workshops presented by Ashley Thomas-Brown of New York Life Investment Management. The workshop series are designed to help individuals identify specific skills required for employment and equip them with the tools to achieve employment. Session I focused evaluating strengths and weaknesses, addressing individual life goals and previous job experience and social networks impact on the hiring process.
