Netflix Members Enjoy More Than Two Billion Hours of Movies and TV Shows in Fourth Quarter

With More U.S. Members Watching Instantly, and Aided by Global Expansion, Netflix Streaming Hours Grew Dramatically in 2011

Netflix Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) said today its members instantly watched more than two billion hours of TV shows and movies streaming from Netflix in the fourth quarter of 2011.

With more than 20 million streaming members globally, Netflix has revolutionized entertainment by allowing people to enjoy TV shows and movies when, where and how they want with a click of a remote, mouse or the touch of a screen.

The UNLEASH campaign is focused on reinforcing Everlast's prominence within the boxing and MMA communities while looking to further expand its presence beyond traditional ring and cage boundaries and into the lives of a wider variety of consumers. "The reality is that whether you're a professional athlete, avid gym member or a stay-at-home mom, fight sports training is relevant to anyone searching for a great, full-body workout," says Neil Morton, CEO of Everlast Worldwide. Still a Need for HBCU’s in the 21st Century: Part 2

“Philosophers have long conceded, however, that every man has two educators: 'that which is given to him, and the other that which he gives himself. Of the two kinds the latter is by far the more desirable. Indeed all that is most worthy in man he must work out and conquer for himself. It is that which constitutes our real and best nourishment. What we are merely taught seldom nourishes the mind like that which we teach ourselves.” Carter G. Woodson, The Mis-education of the Negro HBCU’s provide a chance to improve a life and look past mistakes, what sometimes society tries to throw away, an opportunity to grow and change for the better. Stated by Beverly Guy-Sheftall, Ph.D., “People often think of HBCU’s as places that find services for needy students. This is just one argument made to justify HBCU’s existence. HBCU’s do things that majority of college don’t do, that they are more sensitive to certain things.” HBCU’s allow and encourage youth to mature and inspire adults to elevate their cognitive growth.

We are very concerned with the probable end of the partnership between Walgreens and Express Scripts. Many working class Americans of color depend on the discounted prescription rates they are able to secure through Express Scripts.
